Personality modules in the meter provide an array of communications and measurement options, and an optional service switch allows for remote disconnect and reconnect activities. This flexible meter platform meets current and future business needs with applications ranging from automated meter reading (AMR) to smart grid and advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) initiatives. The meter is built with VDR for surge protection up to 13 kV 6.5kA lightening.
